Graduate Programs
Graduate students gather for a variety of academic and social

- Trip to the Wisconsin Historical Society to watch "The Greatest Good" - a film depicting the history of the US Forest Service.
- Attended the Aldo Leopold Lecture: Dr. Malcolm L. Hunter's presentation "Using Nature's Template to Maintain Forest Biodiversity".
Social
- Broomball is a favorite winter sport among students, post docs, and staff in the department. Our last game was in February at Vilas Park.
- We recently held a pre-field season gathering at the Memorial Union Terrace.
- Indoor activities include social get-togethers, including the department's spring picnic, that showcase our other talents--food and music.
